October 17th through the 22nd is the SDHSAA Fall Officials
Appreciation Week. Each year, these individuals attend clinics, region meetings, complete rules meetings and take tests in preparation for the sports season. During the season these dedicated men and women take time away from their personal schedules and families to provide opportunities for the thousands of student-athletes that participate in SDHSAA activities. We want to thank them for their dedication to the sports they officiate.
Parking for tonight's Football game will be the same as it was for Homecoming. I have enclosed a image for reference.

Chamberlain is host Region Cross Country on Thursday October 13 at 2:00 at the golf course. If your Middle/High School student would like to cheer on the CUBS, please contact Marlo. If students checks in with school personnel at the meet their attendance will be exempted.

At approximately 6:05 PM the Chamberlain Police Department advised that we place the high school under lockdown due to a situation in the general vicinity of the campus. The football team and coaching staff were kept inside the high school in designated areas until we were given the all clear by the Chamberlain Police Department. At 6:56 PM CSD was given the all clear to release students. Everyone is on their way home safely. If you have any questions, please contact me at your convenience.
