• During his time at CHS, William has been involved in: Cross country, Track, Fall play, & One-act play
• One of his favorite memories as a Cub was jumping in the river during cross country practice.
• If he could redo his high school years, he would put more effort into his freshman classes.
• His favorite class at CHS was precalculus, where he and his classmates would start each day playing Wordle and Connections.
• William’s advice to future Cubs: Never put off for tomorrow what can be done today.
• In six years, he plans to be serving as an officer in the Navy.
• What he will miss most about high school is seeing his friends every day.

• During high school, Hayden has been involved in: Concert band, Marching band, Track and field, Cub Nation Broadcasting, National Honor Society, & Fall play and musicals
• One of his favorite memories as a Cub was earning first place in marching band in Sioux Falls.
• If he could redo his high school years, he would work on procrastinating less.
• His favorite class at CHS was STEM Intro to Robotics, where he enjoyed the hands-on learning experience.
• Hayden’s advice to future Cubs: Stay on top of your work and don’t push things off.
• In six years, he sees himself working as a forecaster for the National Weather Service.
• One thing he will miss most about high school is the long breaks.

• After graduation, she will be heading to South Dakota State University with plans to work in historical restoration or any field involving math.
• She has been involved in: Band (marching, concert, and jazz), Theater, Softball, Trap, & Archery
• One of her favorite memories as a Cub was competing in band competitions and excelling, especially in marching at Pierce.
• If she could redo high school, she would worry less about the small details and focus more on enjoying what she loves.
• Selah’s advice to future Cubs: Avoid procrastination, but don’t waste energy worrying about things that don’t truly matter.
• In six years, she hopes to be working as a restorationist or engineer, though she is keeping her options open.
• What she will miss most about high school is the people she gets to talk to, whether they continue on with her through college or not.

• One of his favorite high school memories was taking Ag Metal Fab his sophomore year, spending time with friends and working on projects together.
• If given the chance to redo high school, he wouldn’t change a thing and would do it all over again the same way.
• His favorite class at CHS was Teil’s finished carpentry class, where he enjoyed hands-on learning.
• Eli’s advice to future Cubs: Don’t slack around!
• In six years, he sees himself working as a landscape designer and building a successful career.
• What he will miss most about high school is seeing his classmates every day.

• One thing I will miss about high school: Talking with friends in the middle of class

#CubNation Class of 2025 Senior Shoutout: Savanna Busack
She is the daughter of Dennis and Christine Busack and sister to Logan and Desi Busack, with Karla Thompson also playing an important role in her life.
After graduation, she plans to attend Bismarck State College to pursue a career in Ultrasound Technology.
During her time at CHS, she has been involved in Cheer, HOSA, and Youth Group.
Some of her favorite high school memories come from cheer practices, where she built lasting friendships and had fun with her teammates.
If she could redo high school, she would push herself to try harder and put in more effort.
Her favorite class has been Government because it makes learning fun and always includes plenty of jokes.
Her advice to future Cubs: Work hard, but remember that it’s okay to take breaks when needed.
In six years, she sees herself working as an Ultrasound Tech and achieving her career goals.
One of the things she will miss most about high school is spending time with her friends whenever she wants.

Seniors at Chamberlain High School, led by Student Council President Peyton Haugen, are organizing a telethon to raise scholarship funds for every graduating student pursuing post-secondary education. With support from the Chamberlain School District, staff, and the Oacoma Chamberlain Pukwana Area Community Foundation, the event—dubbed the "Scholarthon"—will be live-streamed on April 23 via the CubNation YouTube channel. The two-hour program will feature entertainment, interviews, and personal stories to rally community support through pledges and sponsorships. Haugen’s goal is to ease financial burdens and inspire future students, with hopes of making the telethon an annual tradition that creates a lasting legacy of giving.


The seniors are enjoying Banking On Your Future this afternoon. Learning all about salaries, banking, insurance, utilities, real estate, purchasing cars, grocery/food, savings/charity, future planning-family expenses, bonuses and road blocks!! Great real life scenarios and experiences!!
